Here we are. Finally, the end of the Road to Genisys and the final film in the Terminator franchise. I’ve sat through the good and the bad and have truly come to love this franchise. Well, okay, I mostly love the first two. With all that said, let’s dive into Genisys and see how our loyalty has been repaid.

Terminator Genisys

Well, folks, here we are. The final movie in the Road to Genisys. After this, I’ll be reviewing Genisys itself and this time, you won’t have to wait an entire month to read it. For now, here’s the entry of the Terminator franchise that inspired a colossal “meh” from audiences worldwide.

Terminator Salvation

It’s the first Thursday of the month (coincidentally, it’s actually the 1st on a Thursday), so you know what that means… no. No, I can’t do this. I can’t think up of a clever way to tie it into the Road the Genisys, not this time. This one’s bad, folks. I mean treacherously bad. Lock and load, folks. I don’t think you’ll see me this mad again for a while.

Welcome to part two of the Road to Genisys, where I look at all of the Terminator movies before eventually reviewing Terminator: Genisys. Today we look at the second and last of James Cameron’s contributions to the franchise in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Pull up a seat and read on.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Hello, everyone! I want to take a bit of your time for some quick announcements. I’ll start with the work based one first because, after all, it’s business before pleasure.

I’m sure a lot of you were surprised that I didn’t do a Reel Snippet on Terminator: Genisys this past Monday. Believe me, I would love to throw my opinions into ring on this movie, especially concerning the buzz I keep hearing about it. But you see, I actually haven’t seen any of the Terminator movies and after a few talks with my beloved staff, I’ve decided that I want to do this right. So rather than spending my money on what many are saying is a dog, I’m going to bide my time until its release on DVD by reviewing all the previous Terminator movies. Let’s call it the Road to Genisys. So sporadically until its release on video, I’ll be coming out with Terminator reviews the first week of every month until the latest one’s release on DVD. They may be films you’ve seen, but maybe my thoughts on them will provide some entertainment.

Second, I will be attending San Diego Comic Con for all four days and preview night. I’ll be dressed up as Ash from Pokèmon for Thursday and Saturday, but I’ll always be carrying a Fish and Cherries tote bag filled with promotional material. If you’re a fan and see me, come say hi.
