Hey, you know what part of my website hasn’t been touched in a while? The stories section. That’s right, I’m going to be posting a short story I wrote in the near future, seeing as it’s late and I’m going to have to reformat the entire thing to work with the website. So tune in later for a story that’s sort of a prototype of a… future project.

Fun fact, this film’s subject was actually introduced to me very young through the song “Zombie Jamboree.” Today, my childhood has come full circle as I finally discover the story of Philippe Petit and his wire walk between the World Trade Center.

Well, this is a big deal. Remember my day one review of The Aeronaut’s Windlass? Well, I sent that to Jim Butcher and his peeps and they loved it! So much so, that I’m officially on the list to get more review copies from Jim Butcher! So check back for more day one looks at your upcoming Dresden Files, Cinder Spires, and Codex Alera… wait, that series already concluded. All right, anything new that comes out of his brilliant mind. This is a huge step forward for myself and Fish and Cherries as a whole, so as you can imagine I’m super excited. Hope to share more of this with you soon!

Well, I can safely say that they represented Mars quite accurately. Watching the film actually made me a bit nostalgic for the place. Maybe I’ll make a summer home there. It is, after all, technically maritime. Watch the film to understand that.

For this week’s Scribbles I decided to try something a little different. Rather than working off of a phrase, I decided to work off a single word and let my creativity flow. What follows are stories of introspection, tabletop gaming, and a miniature Harry Potter fanfic. Enjoy.

It’s the first Thursday of the month (coincidentally, it’s actually the 1st on a Thursday), so you know what that means… no. No, I can’t do this. I can’t think up of a clever way to tie it into the Road the Genisys, not this time. This one’s bad, folks. I mean treacherously bad. Lock and load, folks.
