Comic Con Aftermath

San Diego Comic Con ’15 may be over and done with, but we at Fish and Cherries are celebrating it until the end of the month. I met a lot of fabulous cosplayers at the convention and want to share these experiences with the world. So I’ll be posting these photos on the website to share my appreciation for all their hard work. I’m giving myself until next Wednesday at the latest to post the photos and learn about this new feature.

Oh, but I don’t plan on stopping at photos. You see, Comic Con isn’t just a place for the new and popular things to get premiered, it’s where a lot of unknown and up-and-coming creators try to get their work out there and I got to see a lot if this talent. So for this month’s Ronin Reads, I’m doing a double feature (or maybe even a triple feature) of comics that I picked up from indie artists. From one aspiring creator to others, it’s the least I can do.

Two good announcements to be sure, but I like to do things in threes. Some of you may have heard of Jim Butcher, author of The Dresden Files and Codex Alera. Well, guess what? He’s making his first foray into steampunk with The Cinder Spires: The Aeronaut’s Windlass. I can’t give too many details, but when it comes on September 29th, I will be releasing a Ronin Reads of it on the day of its release. I’m excited for this opportunity and I hope I make it worth your while.

That’s all for Comic Con updates for the future. This has been my favorite and most successful Comic Con in all my years and I can’t wait to see how Fish and Cherries tackles next year. San Diego Comic Con for life.
