Memento was a true brain-bender and I have no excuse for not seeing it before now. The only one I can think of is that my immature brain couldn’t handle it before now because this film takes everything you know about narrative structure and twists it until it becomes a Picasso painting. You’re never entirely sure what’s going on because the narrative is moving in two different directions like a crab’s pincer destined to close and set off a megaton of a mind screw when it does. And I should just stop there because any more would be a disservice to an experience you have to have for yourself. If you haven’t already, see this movie. I guarantee you’ll never forget it.
